“Drone Manufacturing and Assembly Technician”

1. PMKVY 4.0 is a flagship skill development scheme of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt of India with the following objectives: –
   1. Promote and enabling ecosystem for the youth to get skilled and choose a career path aligned with their abilities and aspirations.
   2. Enable the delivery of skill training in a market-oriented and demand-driven manner by making the existing skilling ecosystem more flexible, swift, and geared to meet the emerging demand.
   3. Process overhauling of the skill ecosystem by leveraging technology, innovative financing, and digitalization.
2. The aforesaid scheme of Govt of India is implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), a not-for-profit public limited company set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model.  NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions.
3. The direction of implementation of the aforesaid Govt Scheme at Sainik School Tilaiya from the Session 2023-24 was received from Sainik Schools Society. Presently, PMKVY 4.0 is underway at the School providing training to the Cadets of Class XI^th about Drone Manufacturing and Assembly Technician (Job Code ELE/Q7307) under Electronic Sector.
