ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of English is headed by Mr CK Dubey, PGT and comprises an elite panel of equally energetic and dedicated faculty namely Mr Nilanjan Chatterjee, PGT; Mrs Kalpana Kumar, TGT; Ms NS Topno, TGT ; Mr SS Palit, TGT and Mr Amarjeet Kashyap,TGT.
The Department of English is one of the strongest pillars of Sainik School Tilaiya. Apart from the curriculum, it has a pivotal role in numerous spheres like drafting the annual school Magazine, Newsletters, synchronizing co-curricular activities and cultural Meets, to mention a few.
The English Department runs a state of the art ‘LANGUAGE LABORATORY’ with latest software that assists the teachers in honing the communicative skills of the cadets.
The Department of English provides ample opportunities to the students to master the art of Public Speaking by way of regular Lectures, Debates, and Declamations and also invites renowned scholars to motivate the cadets.
