Mathematics is the Language in which God has written the Universe

Mathematics is a fundamental tool that underpins many aspects of our lives, from everyday tasks like budgeting to complex scientific and technological advancements. It’s crucial for developing problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and critical thinking. Math also helps us understand the world around us, from the natural world to financial markets and engineering. Math teaches us to think logically, make deductions, and draw conclusions based on evidence. Math equips us with the tools to evaluate information, analyze situations, and make informed decisions. 

The department comprises of seven Mathematics teachers to make learning of Mathematics a more meaningful exercise. The members are highly devoted and work in a cordial atmosphere.

The aim of Math Dept is to teach Mathematics by helping the students to develop the ability for solving the meaningful problems, applying logical thinking and sound reasoning. In addition to normal preparation for CBSE Board Examinations, the department imparts training for UPSC (NDA/NA Entrance) test (written part), National Talent Search Examination and Mathematic Olympiad.

The department has a Mathematics Laboratory also. The laboratory has well-equipped Mathematical instruments i.e. charts, Models, 2D, and 3D objects for concept based learning
