1. Cultural Activities. School not only provides opportunities to develop the physical skills of cadets but also provides ample opportunities to develop cadet’s inner talent, mental strength, Creativity, imagination Power etc. through conducting cultural week in the school, so that they can get the chance to show and prove their talent other then academics. This year’s cultural week includes following Competitions:
2. Obstacle Clearance Activity. Obstacle Clearance activity is an important activity in Sainik schools. It helps cadets to develop the endurance power, physical strength, analytical thinking to cross obstacles quickly and promptly. They are given different levels and standards of obstacle to clear as quick as they can. These activities also helps them to clear their training when they get selected in armed forces as these are the part of training in armed forces.
3. Mass PT & Gymnastics. It is rightly said that “Sound Body Have Sound Mind” so to keep Cadets healthy and fit PT is conducted everyday morning. Inter House PT and Gymnastics competitions are also conducted to keep alive the feeling and value of PT and Physical activities in their life.
4. IH English & Hindi Declamation. Inter house English and Hindi Declamation competitions are conducted to keep Cadets Communication and language proficiency at high level. Such competitions help cadets to keep themselves up-to-date with current events and affairs.
5. IH English & Hindi Debate. Inter House English and Hindi Debate Competitions are also conducted time to time to check Cadets, analytical and communication skills, Way of thinking and presence of mind.
The primary aim of Sainik School is to prepare Cadets academically, physically and mentally for entry into the Defence Services in the Officer Cadre and those who do not make the grade, for responsible positions in other walks of life.
