The Department of Computer Science comprises an elite groupof competent teachers. This department is equipped with state of art technologies with ultra-modern gadgets in order to impartthe quality education to the future officer of the Nation. The Computer Labs consists of good number of latest generation computer systems so that each student gets an independent computer during practical. The department are using the different online platforms such as DIKSHA, OLABs etc to enable the cadets to explore beyond the class rooms. In addition, Extra Marks educational software is available for all subjects from Class VI to XII.

As far as the result is concerned the department has been producing excellent results in CBSE Class – X &XII board examination. Many a time the score of the subject has been the highest amongst all Sainik Schools and also in the State of Jharkhand. The department has brought the revolutionary changes in the various training activities of the school. Some of these are real time assessment and feedback of NDA mock tests of the cadets.

Now, by understanding the facts that there is always scope of improvement, the department has made all class room of the school as modern class room by installing smart class room equipment by with Digital Podium, Interactive board, Sound System etc.
