Commander Prashant Biradar

1.         An alumnus of Sainik School, Bijapur and National Defence Academy, Cdr Prashant Biradar was commissioned into Indian Navy on 01 Jan 2013 in Executive Branch. The Officer has served onboard INS Savitri, Tillanchang prior to the specialisation in Anti Submarine Warfare and thereafter onboard INS Mysore and             INS Ranvir as specialist.  The Officer has assumed the charge of Administrative Officer of Sainik School Tilaiya on 29 Apr 2025.

2.         The Officer hails from Vijaypura District in Karnataka and has done his Graduation from National Defence Academy, Pune.  He had pursued higher studies in M. Sc. Underwater Science and Technology at Anti Submarine Warfare at Kochi (Kerala).   

3.         The Officer is a keen sportsman and plays all field games viz., Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball and Football.  He is also a keen player of Badminton and Table Tennis.
