ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of English is one of the strongest pillars of Sainik School Tilaiya. It comprises two PGTs and four TGTs who put-in their maximum effort towards enhancing the level of English of the cadets. Apart from the curriculum, it has a pivotal role in numerous spheres like drafting the annual school Magazine, Newsletters, synchronizing co-curricular activities and cultural Meets, to mention a few.
The English Department runs a state of the art ‘LANGUAGE LABORATORY’ with latest software that assists the teachers in honing the communicative skills of the cadets.
The Department of English provides ample opportunities to the students to master the art of Public Speaking by way of regular Lectures, Debates, Declamations and also invites renowned scholars to motivate the cadets.
